Congress

National Congress and Sector Conferences are the supreme policy making bodies of the Union. National Congress and Sector Conferences have annual meetings, which meet in the same time period, between 15 March and 15 June each year. The number of delegates each branch can send is determined by rule 17.2 of the National UCU Rulebook. It is currently one for every 400 members.

Congress Motions

Motions must be no longer than 150 words, not including titles: in order to facilitate the ordering of business, submitting bodies may include titles to motions of not more than 10 words. Amendments must be no longer than 75 words, not counting rubrics or words to be deleted. There shall be no word limits for motions to amend the rules or amendments thereto.
