Extraordinary General Meeting to discuss industrial action, including the national ballot and EASE dispute [Wed 3rd Dec, 1pm]
This is a formal calling notice for an Extraordinary General Meeting of UCL UCU which is taking place online via zoom on Wednesday 3rd December at 1pm.
This meeting has been timetabled to discuss the results of the national Industrial Action Ballot and next steps. We will also take the opportunity to discuss next steps in the local dispute over EASE following the launch of the Arts and Humanities EASE project, and support for industrial action called by UCU branches elsewhere.
UCU has called a Branch Delegate Meeting (BDM) on Thursday 4th December between 1pm – 2.30pm to consider next steps in the national dispute in light of feedback from branches. We expect questions to be circulated from HQ in advance of the meeting, which we will circulate to members and which will be discussed in the meeting.
Members have been emailed a zoom link to register.
Motions for debate at the EGM should be sent to ucu@ucl.ac.uk with a deadline of 12 noon this Friday 28th November.
