Organising Committee volunteers needed for the Day of Action!
We need volunteers to join our Organising Committee to plan activities at this branch on the Day of Action that UCU has called for Friday 20th November.
The first Organising Committee meeting will be on Thursday 12th November at 1pm. Members have been sent a zoom link to join the meeting.
We want to use the Day of Action to highlight the local issues that affect members to students and the wider public. For example, to explain why it matters that local agreements like the Teaching Concordat are upheld, and to highlight unmanageable workloads affecting staff across the university, and the knock-on effects of “Service Simplification” and EASE, and student over-recruitment.
You may have other ideas – we want to hear from you!
We need to plan stalls, posters, leaflets and badges!
