UNEASE Campaign Website Launch – Get Involved!
UCL Engineering is the latest faculty to be put through an EASE restructure consultation. As the campus trade unions are continuing to fiercely oppose any compulsory redundancies or downgrading of staff, UCU is heading for a consultative industrial action ballot as this dispute escalates.
We have launched a dedicated campaign website: https://unease.ucl-ucu.org.uk/.
Our demands are simple:
- A commitment from UCL to make no compulsory redundancies and downgrading arising out of EASE/MarComms and other ‘Service Simplification’ proposals.
- A pause on future proposals.
- A joint union/management oversight committee to review the impact of implementation and address the consequences.
We are publishing anonymous testimonials from staff who have been through the EASE restructuring process in order to amplify the voices of staff whose views have become lost in a sea of management gloss.
Get Involved in the campaign!
