Last week, members at our branch General Meeting voted overwhelmingly in favour of supporting a UK-wide day of action calling for an immediate and unconditional Ceasefire in Israel/Palestine this Wednesday, 7 February.
Five motions and 2 amendments have been submitted for members to debate and vote on. All members are welcome to join the branch social after this hybrid meeting
We are recirculating motions for the General Meeting tomorrow as an additional motion has been accepted. Please see Appendix 1 for all five motions
The purpose of this meeting is to decide which motions should be submitted to Congress and the HE Sector Conference on behalf of this branch
We have changed the time of the branch General Meeting on Thursday 1st February to avoid a clash with the centrally organised General Secretary Hustings.
