UCL has published a proposed policy on face coverings, which they have not consulted UCU over. We do not agree with this position which ignores the responsibility of staff to prevent avoidable risks to themselves and their students.
In this message we provide advice on two key issues raised by the planned return to campus and face-to-face (f2f) teaching: (1) face coverings and masks, and (2) ventilation.
