Notice of General Meeting, Thursday 05 January, 13:00-14:30
The meeting is mainly to continue the discussion on next steps from 14 December EGM, and to debate and vote on related motions:
- Where we are in the dispute, the start of term Marking and Assessment Boycott, and our next steps be.
- Electing Branch Delegates to go to the national Branch Delegates Meeting that will discuss the next steps in the dispute
- Update on the USS dispute and legal action.
- Other motions
Members can submit motions to this meeting that will be circulated at least 3 days in advance (so the deadline is Monday 2 Jan) and members will be able to submit amendments after motions have been circulated. Please contact the Executive Committee if you have queries about or need guidance on how to draft a motion.
