Calling notice for hybrid General Meeting, Thursday 30th January at 1pm
This is a formal calling notice for a hybrid General Meeting of UCL UCU taking place at 1-2pm on Thursday 30th January 2025.
All members are invited to join the meeting, either:
- Online via Zoom, please register in advance using the link sent via email, or
- In person, in IOE Room 828, 20 Bedford Way.
Motions for debate
Members are invited to submit motions for debate on any topic. Guidance on writing a motion can be found on this page, or members are welcome to contact Branch Officers for drafting assistance. Motions should be received by the branch at ucu@ucl.ac.uk by 9am on Monday 27th January.
- Submitted motions will be circulated to members later on Monday 27th January, and amendments to these motions will then be invited, up until 5pm on Tuesday 28th January.
- The final set of motions and amendments will be circulated on Wednesday 29th January.
All members are encouraged to attend the General Meeting.
Branch social
As a reminder, there will also be a Branch Social on the same day, starting from 4.30pm. This is an opportunity to meet union members from across UCL in a relaxed context and talk to dept reps and branch officers informally. Please check your email for details!
