Circulating call for National Demonstration on Palestine
In line with existing Branch Policy (as adopted by motions at branch General Meetings), we are circulating the below call for participation in a national demonstration (that UCU will be participating in nationally as well as locally):
Call follows——–
Support Palestine, ceasefire now!, stop arming Israel!. Demonstrate 17 May.
The next national demonstration for Palestine will be on Nakba day (17 May) – the day of commemoration for the catastrophe in 1948 when Palestinians were expelled from their homes.
Assemble 12:00 noon at Embankment Tube, London.
UCU will be represented in the Trade Union Block, please join the demonstration and show your support.
