General Meeting – Amendments invited & motions submitted for Tues 21st Oct, 1pm
This is a reminder that a General Meeting of UCL UCU will be taking place online via zoom onTuesday 21st October at 1pm. Members should register using the zoom link that has been emailed.
Five motions have been submitted:
- Building the National Dispute
- Organising for UK-wide Action to Defend Jobs and Pay
- Organising opposition to the Far Right at UCL
- Proposal: For UCL to cease its investment in and relationship with Google DeepMind
- Equalities Motion: UCU Black Members Support for Test Case
Members are invited to submit amendments to these motions by emailing ucu@ucl.ac.uk. Amendments will be accepted until 5pm on Friday 17th October. We aim to circulate any amendments received on Monday 20th October.
All members are encouraged to attend and vote on these motions. If passed, motions 1-4 will become branch policy, and motion 5 will be submitted to the Black Members’ Annual Conference 2025.
