Committee Nominations Extended + Branch Social

Nominations for branch officer positions have now closed. As there are a number of Executive Committee places still unfilled, the outgoing committee has agreed to extend nominations for ordinary members of the Executive Committee until Monday 22nd June 2026. 

If you are interested in joining your local UCL UCU branch committee, there is still an opportunity to complete and submit this form. The Deputy Returning Officer Nicola Countouris should receive confirmation of nominations.

As per our Standing Orders, members from all staff groups (academic, teaching, research, professional services, PGTA) are warmly encouraged to stand.  If you have any queries about this process, please email ucu@ucl.ac.uk.

The following Branch Officer positions were uncontested. Under Rule 9.4, those nominees have been declared duly elected by the Returning Officer.

Annual General Meeting: 1-2.30pm, Thursday 25th June 2026

The meeting will be hybrid so you can either attend in person or join online. Details have been emailed to members.

Motions Invited

Members are invited to submit motions for debate at the AGM.  Guidance on writing a motion can be found here and Branch Officers are available for any drafting advice.  Motions should be emailed to ucu@ucl.ac.uk by 12pm on Thursday 18th June 2026.  

Branch Summer Social, evening, Thursday 25th June
